Let’s face it, there’s nothing like popping the cork of a bottle of wine. There is just a certain level of romance to that process of opening a bottle of wine with a cork and hearing that “POP” sound. Then screw caps made the scene as a stopper, used as a cost savings measure. Now even premium wines have started using screw caps from time to time. But, what about wines from a can? In this episode, Shelley and Phil do the unthinkable and taste through three different Chardonnays from a can: Original House Wine Chardonnay, Buttercup Chardonnay and Free Seeker Chardonnay. Most of these can be found at any grocery store that carries a decent assortment of wine. But how will they measure up? You’ll have to listen to find out.
