In this episode, Shelley and Phil sit down with the owners and founders of Clearwater Canyon Cellars, Coco and Karl Umiker, who are the winemaker and vineyard manager, respectively. Or should we say Coco is the Dr. of Wine and Karl is the soil scientist/vine whisperer. However you title them, there is no debating they do it all at Clearwater Canyon. This power couple is blazing trails in Lewiston, Idaho, including the creation of the Lewis-Clark Valley AVA.
